Just the other day it was the two year anniversary of the conclusion of production for The Red Thread. Today, I am overjoyed to share that The Red Thread has, at long last, received recognition for all the time, energy, and love that was put into making it! I am proud to announce that The Red Thread has been selected out of 1,500 applicants for a Remi Award and to be screened at the 51st Annual WorldFest Houston!
WorldFest is a notable festival for being one of the oldest in the country as well as being the first festival to recognize brilliant talents such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ethan Hawke, among many others. Screening at the festival is an honor ---doubly so because that means we have won a Remi Award! Although we have not been informed of the winning category yet, I just want to thank all the tireless work of the people that helped this film happen and everyone who supported us along the way. I couldn't have done it without my amazing cast & crew and it's thanks to them that I will be representing The Red Thread at Houston WorldFest next month! Hopefully this is just the beginning for The Red Thread on the path to success on the Festival circuit!
